Surcharge Remains on Club and Unit GNT Events. The District took no action on removing the $10 District surcharge on GNT events at Unit and Club levels. This surcharge is dedicated entirely to subsidizing DINO teams at the NABC’s. The matter has been referred to Committee.

Pro Bridge Tour a Possibility. The District approved negotiating with the Pro Bridge Tour for an Individual Money Game at Penticton in 2004 provided that the Penticton Tournament Committee agrees.

Reduced Fees For Senior Events Not Approved. The District Board decided not to lower playing fees for Senior Events and stuck by its policy of one price for all events except for the 0-5 MP free novice game.

August May Not Be A Good Tournament Month. The Board discussed not holding yearly tournaments in August due to poor attendance. The Tournament Oversight Committee will make recommendations for changes.
