CANADIAN BRIDGE FEDERATION EVENTS

INTERESTED IN CNTC OR CWTC TEAM PLAY?

The Canadian Bridge Federation is inviting teams to enter the National Finals of the Canadian National Team Championships (CNTC) and Canadian Women’s Team Championships (CWTC) to be held during Bridge Week May 27-June 3, 2007 in Winnipeg.
Teams of up to 6 players are invited to qualify for these events in club or unit qualifying games and enter Zone 6 Finals scheduled as follows:

CWTC Zone 6 Split Final: April 1 2007 at both Vancouver Bridge Center, 2776 E. Broadway, Vancouver BC and Victoria Bridge Center, #1-612 Head Street, Victoria BC.

CNTC Zone 6 Final: April 7 & 8 2007 at Victoria Bridge Center, #1-612 Head Street, Victoria BC. (Victoria Regional begins April 9). Flight A is unlimited, flight B players <1500 mpts on September 1, 2006. Club qualifying games are scheduled for Nov 6 and Jan 6 2007 at Vancouver Bridge Center and Nov 25, Dec 17 and Jan 6 2007 at Victoria Bridge Center. Check with your club for additional qualifying games.

Winning teams will represent the Zone 6 at the National Finals in Winnipeg during National Bridge week May 27-June 3, 2007 and, if successful, represent Canada in the Bi-Country playoff with Mexico in July/August 2007, with winners going to WBF Zone 2 competition (Venice Cup for CWTC and Bermuda Cup for CNTC) in Shanghai China September/October 2007.

Winning teams will be eligible for a subsidy to play in National and International events.

To enter a zone final register with the event coordinator for CWTC Zone 6 Final by March 28 2007 and/or for CNTC Zone 6 Final by April 4 2007.
