DINO Education Liaison Dee Berry writes book for teachers
and students
Dee Berry and PDI Bridge Supply are happy to announce the printing
of: Two Over One in a Nutshell which contains the
framework of the 2/1 system. Dees primary concerns in writing
were modern content and convenience for use by the student and
teacher.
Dee has power packed this 70-page ready-reference Guide with
a Bridge Buffet approach to modern treatments and
a Tips for Teachers page suggesting a minimum
6-8 week basic course.
The booklet is compact, lays flat, has colored suit symbols,
bold print, and points organized for ease in learning; Dee is
rated as a Master Bridge Teacher by the ABTA and understands the
need for simplicity and clarity while learning and teaching. She
can be reached by e-mail for teaching advice.
BRIDGE IN SCHOOLS
Dee Berry, District 19 Education Liaison would greatly appreciate
receiving any news regarding bridge education in schools in your
area occuring this fall and/or planned for the winter quarter.
Info re programs in elementary, middle, and high schools as well
as colleges is pertinent. National ACBL would like a summary from
me of "what's going on," and I need your input. Are there any
college bridge clubs in your area? Names of suggested college
personnel for contacts re bridge classes would be appreciated, too.
Send your information or questions to Dee Berry, deeandduane.berry<at>verizon.net
