ABOUT THE TAP : TEACHER
ACCREDIATION PROGRAM
Are you interested in a bridge opportunity that will:
:: Make you an integral part of ACBL's growth?
:: Train you, at nominal cost, for a lucrative part-or-
full-time job?
:: Enable you to use your pride, interest and skill
in a positive and productive way?
If you answered yes to all of the questions above,
then consider becoming an ACBL Accredited Teacher.
The 10-hour course will train you in the hands-on
style of teaching beginners' bridge in a manner that is fun and
easy for bridge students. The ACBL Club Series Teacher Manual and
Club Series Student Text will be sent to you when you enroll and
will be the study guides for the course. This material, written
by Audrey Grant, has been used by many ACBL Accredited Teachers
all over North America. Their reactions to the ACBL / Audrey Grant
course material are overwhelmingly positive. A typical response
comes from Janice Randles of Whidbey Island, Wa.
"The TAP materials are oustanding. They simplify
teaching so much. The Club Series is the most comprehensive, professionally
presented material I have found. It is a joy to teach and the students
adore it!"
In addition, the course will offer valuable marketing
advice for bridge lessons and give you an opportunity to exchange
ideas with other bridge teachers.
As an ACBL Accredited Teacher, you will receive the
following benefits:
:: ACBL Accredited Teachers receive discounted prices
on
all ACBL beginning course materials
:: A quarterly newsletter, "The Bridge Teacher,”
keeps accredited teachers informed of Education Department programs,
gives helpful teaching and marketing tips, and provides an outlet
for the exchange of ideas among the teachers.
