The District tournament suppl ier's notification of termination of contract was received. A Board Committee consisting of Gay Parrish, Marv Norden and Pat Dunn is authorized to establ ish a tournament supply arrangement for District Regionals.
The ACBL Charity Foundation's $1 8,000 grant in the name of District 1 9 went to World Renew, which is a world-wide organization helping the hungry.
Matching grants from other organizations brought the amount to $45,000.
The District received notice that the District Recorder is retiring. The District wil l offer a new
Recorder eight free plays per Regional attended and any physical suppl ies and other identifiable expenses authorized by the District President.
Entry fees for younger players have been real igned to correspond to the new ACBL designations and District Regional entry fees are establ ished as fol lows:
Players under 1 9: $1 .00 1 9-21 : $5.00 21 - 26 and ful l time students: $5.00
The District has al located $1 600 to an Alaskan high school contingent of four students to attend the Youth NABC this summer.
