Unit 443 of the American Contract Bridge League--composed of clubs from Port Townsend, Chimacum, Port Ludlow, Sequim, and Port Angeles in Washington state--hosted its Port Townsend Sectional tournament January 25-27. About 250 players attended this tournament. The top winners from Unit 443 were: Vern Nunnally, Jim Wiitala, Sharon and Leonard Hills, Rick Zander, Chuck Jones, Jack Real, John Palmeri, Helen and Paul Stratton, Betty Abersold, Ted Miller, Larry Phelps, Sonja Schoenleber, Pat Karls, Suzanne Berg, Tom Loveday, Ted Rogers, Frank Brown, and David Jackson.

Unit 443 is hosting a Sectional tournament this summer (2008) in Sequim, Washington. It will be a 4-day Sectional: June 26, 27, 28, and 29. There will be a Bracketed KO, a Bracketed Compact KO, 199er events, and Open Pairs. A complete meal will be served free of charge between sessions every day--plus free coffee and snacks at all times.
