Unit 443 of the American Contract Bridge League--composed of clubs from Port Townsend, Chimacum, Port Ludlow, Sequim, and Port Angeles in Washington State--hosted its Port Townsend Sectional tournament on January 23 - 25, 2009. 216 players won points. The top 10 winners from Unit 443, in order of points earned at this tournament, were: Frank Brown, Arlene Nunnally, Jim Tilzey, Bob Wilkinson, Vern Nunnally, Frank & Nancy Herodes, David Jackson, Jim DeVogler, and Mary Norwood.

Unit 443 is hosting a 4-day Sectional tournament in Sequim, Washington on July 2, 3, 4, and 5, 2009. There will be 199er games, stratified Open Pairs, a 2-session bracketed Knockout, a single-session board-a-match Swiss Team, a 2-session compact Knockout, and a 2-session stratified Swiss Team event on Sunday. Free coffee and snacks will be available every day, and on Sunday there will be free sandwiches.
