The Kootenay Unit is located in South Eastern British Columbia in an area known as the Kootenays. While their population is small their love of the game is not. Their clubs are friendly and active.

The Kootenay Unit sectional tournaments in Kimberley in the Spring, and Rossland in the Summer, are renown across Western Canada and the NorthWestern United States for their great fun and hospitality. The Kootenays originated the famous Tournament Package - an all-in-one package which includes table fees, hotel, and meals for one impossibly low price. Combine that with pancake breakfasts, nightly hospitality, door prizes and beautiful surroundings and you have two very successful tournaments.
